Travis' Testimony

Being raised in a Christian home, I grew up under the preaching of the Word of God and was consequently saved at a young age. When I was nine years old, the Lord called me to missions, and later, specifically to the country of Ireland .

As a student at Crown College in Powell , TN , I spent six months on the mission field of Peru , South America , with Missionary Austin Gardner. In July 2002, my wife Teri and I were married, and, in May 2003, I graduated from Crown College .

Having begun deputation while in Bible college, Teri and I left for the mission field in June of 2004. We are currently located in Northern Ireland , and are working to plant churches and train men to evangelize Ireland, the United Kingdom, Europe , and the rest of the world.

Teri's Testimony

I grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. All my life I attended Forrest Hills Baptist Church where my dad was on the church staff and my mom was on the school faculty.

When I was a young girl, my sisters started talking to me about the people who are allowed into heaven. This prompted me to approach my mother about my personal salvation. She used verses from the Bible to show me that because Jesus paid the penalty for my sins then I could be allowed into heaven if I accepted Him as my Saviour. That night I repented of my sin and placed my faith in Jesus Christ to save me.

As a teenager, I took a trip with my youth group to a "Christian Youth Congress" at the Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee. During one of the meetings, God helped me realize that my life would be wasted if I didnt live it for Him. So I surrendered my life to Him to do whatever He wanted me to do.

After I finished school I attended Crown College where I met my husband Travis. Several years after we were married we moved to Limavady and worked with Ronnie and Marsha Smith and their church for a little over a year. In September of 2007, the Lord allowed us to start the Northwest Baptist Church in Derry/Londonderry where we are happily serving Him now.

Grant's Story

Though Teri's due date for our first child was not until June 22, 2005, God saw fit to cause her to go into labor eleven weeks early and give birth to our first baby, Grant Josiah, at 5 am on April 5. He was 3.5 lbs and was 15 1/2 inches long.

After some initial concern over his breathing and tempurature, Grant began to progress rapidly. He was in Altnagelvin Hospital for 10 weeks. Even though his extended stay there was difficult emotionally and physically, God did some amazing things through it.

We met and were able to witness to many nurses, doctors, and families while we were visiting with Grant during those weeks at the hospital. Even as a premature baby, God used our son to create opportunities for us to witness.

Today, Grant is doing very well. Please pray with us that God will use him in a mighty way.

Darci's Story

Darci was born on June 15, 2022 at 3.20 am. She weighed 7 lbs, 11 ozs. She is such a joy and blessing to our lives. We are so happy to have her. It is amazing how different boys and girls are even from the time that they are born. She is growing rapidly and giving her brother "a run for his money." Please continue to pray for her that she will get saved at a young age and grow up to serve the Lord with all of her heart.
